Pay
- What is the minimum wage?IQD 450,000 a month for an unskilled worker. No agreement may go below it.
- When must my wage be paid?At least once a month, on a working day, in Iraqi dinars.
- How much can be taken from my wage?A wage can be seized for a debt only on a court judgment, up to 20%. Any agreement giving up a legal right is void.
- When do I get my final pay after leaving?Within 7 days of the job ending.
- Must women and men get equal pay?No provision found in Law 71.
