What we collect

Job alerts. Your email address, the search you asked to be told about, and the language you asked in. We also keep a record of which jobs we already sent you, so the same job does not arrive twice.

The contact form. Your name, your email or phone number, your message, and your IP address. The address is there to tell real messages from spam, nothing else.

Saved jobs. These stay in your browser. We never receive the list, and it disappears when you clear your browser data.

Visits. Our server keeps ordinary access logs: the address you came from, the page you asked for, and the time.

We do not ask for a CV, a date of birth, or an ID. There are no accounts on Bahoz yet, so there is nothing else to collect.

Cookies

Some cookies are needed for the site to work at all. They remember your language, whether you chose dark mode, and they stop someone submitting a form in your name.

We would also like to measure how the site is used, so we can see what works and make it better. That loads only if you accept it in the banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, it never loads and no measurement cookie is set. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and choose again.

Who else sees it

• Resend delivers our email, so it handles your address to send you a digest.
• Cloudflare checks that our forms are filled by a person and not a script.
• Our analytics provider, only if you accepted it.

We use an AI service to tidy job postings into a readable shape. It reads job adverts, not anything of yours.

We do not sell anything about you, and we do not pass your details to employers. When you apply you leave Bahoz and deal with the employer directly, on their site or by their email, phone or WhatsApp. What happens there is between you and them.

How long we keep it

• Job alerts: until you stop them. Every email we send has a link that does it in one click.
• The record of jobs already sent to you: 90 days.
• Contact messages: until they are dealt with, and a while after in case you write again.
• Backups: 14 days, then they are gone.

What you can do

Every alert email has a link to manage your alerts and a link to stop them. Stopping takes one click and needs no account.

You can also ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Write from the address you used, and we will do it.

Changes

If we change this page, we will change the date at the top. If a change matters to people who already have alerts, we will say so in the next digest.
