Foreign workers and agencies
- Can a job agency charge me?Only once, at most 25% of one month's wage, and only after you have started the job. Any fee taken in advance is against the rules.
- Do foreign workers have the same rights?Yes. Every labour-law right applies, on top of the instruction's own rules, and social security covers them.
- How many workers in a company must be local? At least 75%.
- What rights does a foreign domestic worker have?Monthly wage, care when sick, rest, weekly rest, public holidays and annual leave, decent food and housing, family contact twice a month, a contract in a language they understand, and the right to end it if pay is over 5 days late.
