When can I retire?
Kurdistan Region
Men at 60 and women at 55 with 20 years of registered service; or any age with 30 years (men) or 25 (women). If a worker dies in service, the family gets a pension regardless.

Federal Iraq
Men at 63 and women at 58 with 15 years; men at 60 and women at 55 with 20; from 50 with 30 years (men) or 25 (women).

The law
The Kurdistan Region has no labour law of its own, so it still applies Iraqi Labour Law No. 71 of 1987. Federal Iraq has applied the newer Labour Law No. 37 since 2015.
