How much notice must I give when I resign?

30 days' written notice for an open-ended contract. Without it, the worker owes that period's wage.

The law
The Kurdistan Region has no labour law of its own, so it still applies Iraqi Labour Law No. 71 of 1987. Federal Iraq has applied the newer Labour Law No. 37 since 2015.
اذا اراد العامل انهاء عقد العمل غير المحدد المدة, بشرط ان يوجه انذارا مكتوبا الى صاحب العمل قبل ثلاثين يوما, في الاقل, من التاريخ الذي يحدده لانهاء العقد.استقالة العامل شرط ان يوجه اخطارا الى صاحب العمل قبل ( ٣٠ ) ثلاثين يوما في الاقل من انهاء العقدThis is general information, not legal advice.
