DDK Collection Hotel is seeking a professional and service-focused Waitress to support food and beverage service within the hotel lobby. Reporting to the F&B Manager, the successful candidate will welcome guests, take and serve food and beverage orders, maintain table and seating-area readiness, respond to guest requests, and contribute to a comfortable and attentive lobby experience.
Responsibilities
- Welcome lobby guests professionally, assist with seating when required, present menus, and provide attentive food and beverage service.
- Take guest orders accurately, communicate them promptly to the relevant kitchen or beverage team, and serve food and beverages according to approved service standards.
- Monitor guest tables and seating areas, respond promptly to requests, clear and reset tables, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment.
- Coordinate with the F&B Manager and service team regarding guest requests, order status, service issues, and matters requiring follow-up or management attention.
- Maintain proper grooming, hygiene, food-safety awareness, and professional service conduct.
- Support the wider F&B operation during busy periods when required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a waitress or in a similar food and beverage service role, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, café, lounge, or comparable hospitality environment.
- Good command of Kurdish and Arabic is required.
- Basic knowledge of English is required.
- Good understanding of table service, order taking, food and beverage presentation, guest handling, and basic service etiquette.
- Ability to communicate politely and professionally with hotel guests and coordinate effectively with the F&B team.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining cleanliness, accuracy, and a positive service attitude.
- Previous experience in a hotel lobby, restaurant, café, lounge, or other guest-facing hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, time management, and awareness of guest needs are preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts according to hotel operating requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required, is preferred.
