Special Needs Children Coach Assistant

It is an independent, non-governmental organization dedicated to children. It was established in 1991 by Mrs. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed and a number of volunteer staff. It is a non-political, non-governmental, and non-religious organization that operates on a non-profit basis. It provides assistance regardless of race, gender, religious, or political affiliations. It works to secure a better future for children and youth by developing their capabilities without discrimination, as well as advocating for, providing, and strengthening services in the fields of child rights protection, health, and education.

The Education Program supervises Mendalparez's educational projects across the governorates, cities, and towns of the Kurdistan Region, which include: (Kaziway Mendalan Cultural Centers in Chwarta and Arabat), (Shaheed Jabar Mixed Secondary School), (Educational Training Center for Children with Special Needs), and (Kaziwa Kindergarten / Arabat Camp). In addition, it manages a set of short-term projects such as: non-formal education courses in schools and kindergartens in and around Sulaimani, participation in the "back-to-school" process, summer course projects in schools, training for special education teachers, and various educational activities.

The program also continues to coordinate and support children's education processes, participate in diverse child-related activities, showcase activities, support children, and plan for the execution of program activities.

This is a free service project dedicated to serving children with special needs, established on June 1, 2014. This project focuses on children who require assistance and are unable to continue in regular educational institutions. These children are trained using modern, scientific methods to prevent delays and integrate them with regular children so they do not feel different. The field of special education receives significant attention, has witnessed good development, and has greatly facilitated matters for children with special needs.

This center is the only place in the Kurdistan Region that provides specialized physical and educational training programs for its beneficiaries. Simultaneously, it actively conducts ongoing meetings and seminars for parents, provides training for special education staff, and effectively educates the community on how to interact with children with special needs.
