Responsibilities
- Investigate and triage medium-to-high severity SIEM alerts within defined SLA
- Perform deep-dive analysis of security events: log correlation, packet analysis, endpoint telemetry
- Escalate confirmed or suspected P1/P2 incidents to the SOC Manager with a full investigation summary
- Execute SOAR playbooks and recommend new playbook development to the Manager
- Contribute to Threat Hunting sprints using hypothesis-driven analysis and MITRE ATT&CK
- Maintain and enrich the IOC/threat intelligence database
- Guide and quality-assure Tier 1 analyst investigations and shift handovers
- Produce shift-end investigation reports and contribute to the weekly SOC report
Requirements
- Multi-source log and event correlation and triage
- Malware behavior analysis and IOC extraction
- SOAR playbook execution and workflow optimization
- MITRE ATT&CK TTP mapping and threat hunting techniques
- Clear, concise incident investigation reporting
- B.Sc. in Information Security or any related IT filed
- CompTIA CySA+, GCIH, or GSOC. Must have Security+ at least.
- Have experience in security monitoring and incident analysis preferred at least 1 year
- Proficiency with at least one enterprise SIEM platform
