mselect is looking to hire a Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Specialist for a manufacturing and distribution client in Erbil, Iraq.

The Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Specialist will take day-to-day ownership of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, combining strong functional expertise with hands-on technical delivery.

The role will support business users, resolve production issues, develop reports and integrations, improve business processes, manage APEX extensions, and guide a junior Oracle developer.

The role will support a cloud environment covering Fusion Financials, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Core HR, as well as APEX applications and payroll, sales, and attendance interfaces.

The position will also collaborate with business owners and specialist vendors across the deployed solution.

Responsibilities

  • Own incidents and service requests from diagnosis through resolution, agree priorities with users, investigate recurring issues, and coordinate specialist support when required.
  • Support approval workflows, procurement and finance transactions, manufacturing BOMs, work orders, material consumption, UOM and costing.
  • Support Core HR data and payroll interfaces.
  • Build and maintain APEX applications, SQL/PLSQL components, dashboards and Fusion reports.
  • Produce audit extracts, approval histories and PO-receipt-invoice reconciliations, and validate results with business owners.
  • Own REST/SOAP and file-based interfaces with sales, payroll and other applications.
  • Diagnose failures, reconcile transactions, and plan API changes and cutovers.
  • Coordinate cloud database and OCI/PaaS dependencies with specialists.
  • Administer approved user roles and data access, support segregation-of-duties reviews, and maintain audit evidence.
  • Apply agreed access and change controls when handling sensitive business data.
  • Assess Oracle quarterly updates, plan regression testing and user acceptance testing, coordinate approved changes between environments, and confirm critical processes and interfaces after release.
  • Own Oracle Support and vendor follow-up, track SLA commitments and subscription renewals, train users, document recovery procedures, and assign and review the junior developer’s work.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant Oracle applications experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation or production support.
  • Proven ability to independently resolve live application issues and deliver tested changes, with responsibility for ongoing support following implementation or during the transition from implementation to support.
  • Strong experience in Fusion Financials and procure-to-pay support, with practical knowledge of Inventory and Manufacturing, including BOMs, work orders, UOM, WIP, and costing reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of Core HR and payroll interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL development; REST/SOAP integration troubleshooting; Fusion reporting and supported data imports.
  • Ability to support cloud database/PaaS dependencies and trace data across applications.
  • Practical experience with application setup, approval workflows, user roles, data access, testing, and controlled release of changes.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to business users, prepare clear support documentation, manage competing priorities, and coach junior developers.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Candidates currently based in Iraq and available for the agreed work location and working arrangement.

Notes

  • Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, FBDI, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder, Redwood adoption, and deeper OCI administration.
  • FMCG or distribution industry experience.
  • Advanced HCM knowledge.
