National Bank of Iraq is hiring a Retail Credit Execution Senior Associate in Baghdad to document credit agreements, execute loans, and prepare periodic reports.
Responsibilities
- Review and document credit agreements, credit-related appendices, and supporting documents in accordance with approved credit requests and approvals, after verifying the relevant committees’ authorities.
- Process transactions in line with the approved authority matrix, credit policies, and established procedures.
- Document guarantees and other related documents after verifying their validity and accuracy.
- Calculate commissions and stamp duties in accordance with credit policies, procedures, product requirements, credit assessments, and the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq.
- Prepare credit limit notification forms and review their implementation on the banking system in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve outstanding follow-ups related to the Credit Documentation Unit.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to implement notification forms in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Prepare required periodic reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Execute loans directly on the banking system for transactions received through the Loans Workflow system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
