First Iraqi Bank (FIB) is looking for Marketing Manager to support and enhance the Bank’s digital banking channels and integration services.

The Marketing Department Manager is responsible for carrying out activities related to the scope of the role within Marketing, supporting the department’s objective of strengthening the brand and executing communications, campaigns, content, and channels in a manner that supports growth and customer experience. The role ensures the accuracy of outputs, quality of service, and compliance with authorities, policies, and the instructions of the relevant regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the department’s work plan, align it with the Bank’s objectives, define priorities, resources, and performance indicators, and follow up on implementation.
  • Distribute responsibilities, monitor performance, productivity, and quality, develop employees’ capabilities, and address performance gaps.
  • Review and approve work within the assigned authorities and ensure the application of controls, segregation of duties, and handling of exceptions.
  • Develop and review work policies, procedures, and instructions, and ensure they are updated, implemented, and aligned with requirements.
  • Identify operational and regulatory risks and follow up on controls, remediation plans, and observations from audit and regulatory authorities.
  • Submit periodic and objective reports on performance, risks, issues, needs, and required decisions.
  • Execute activities and campaigns in accordance with the marketing plan, objectives, budgets, and approved authorizations.
  • Prepare or review content and messages in line with the Bank’s identity, tone of communication, and approved information.
  • Manage or support digital channels and paid campaigns and measure reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Ensure compliance with the visual identity and brand usage standards across all materials and outputs.
  • Analyze campaign results, audience behavior, and indicators, and provide recommendations for improvement and increased effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain the necessary approvals before publication or campaign launch.
  • Comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures and the instructions of the relevant regulatory authorities, and maintain the confidentiality of the Bank’s, customers’, and employees’ information.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments and units and provide the required information within the assigned authorities to ensure completion of work and address dependencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, Business Administration, or Design, depending on the nature of the position, or a field related to the nature of the position, or no less than 3 years of experience.
  • Relevant experience of usually no less than 8 years, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Proficiency in using relevant systems and applications, analysis and problem-solving, accuracy and time management, report preparation, communication and teamwork, maintaining confidentiality, and compliance with policies and controls. In addition to leadership, priority allocation, performance management, decision-making, and stakeholder management.
