Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Assist in recording accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and periodic accounting statements.
- Reconcile financial records and help identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain and update accounting files, spreadsheets, and financial databases.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cash monitoring.
- Ensure financial documents are properly organized and readily available for review.
- Support senior accountants with month-end closing activities and other accounting tasks as required.
- Follow company accounting procedures and maintain the confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Good command of English and either Kurdish or Arabic.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Six months to one year of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
