Working hours
- Working Days: 5 days per week
Responsibilities
- Deliver HSE inductions and core courses: permit to work, H2S awareness, working at height, confined space entry, fire safety, first aid, lifting operations and defensive driving.
- Run training on hazard identification, risk assessment, incident reporting and environmental protection.
- Assess trainee competence and issue certificates.
- Keep the HSE training matrix and records up to date.
- Update course content after incidents, audits and regulatory changes.
- Support HSE campaigns, toolbox talks and safety stand-downs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC (minimum); NEBOSH Oil & Gas or IOSH certificates preferred.
- Recognised trainer or instructor certification (e.g. OPITO, Train-the-Trainer).
- Proven experience in HSE, with 3+ years delivering training in oil and gas.
- Strong knowledge of oil and gas hazards and controls.
- Fluent Kurdish or Arabic and English.
