Responsibilities
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and handling clothes and linens.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Iron and press clothes, uniforms, and linens to the required standards.
- Fold and organize cleaned items properly for storage or distribution.
- Sort items by type, color, and fabric to ensure appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of laundry and storage areas.
- Report damaged items, equipment issues, or shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in distributing clean clothes and linens to designated departments or staff.
- Support general housekeeping tasks when required.
- Follow all safety procedures when handling laundry chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure assigned laundry tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain records of laundry activities, if required.
