Deliver day-to-day management of HKN’s social media channels, creating and publishing engaging content that showcases our operations, our people and their achievements across all HKN entities.
Working hours
- Sunday – Thursday 8:30 – 17:00
- Start Date: To be confirmed
Responsibilities
- Create, schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other approved platforms
- Follow the content calendar and brand guidelines, and keep a consistent look and tone across entities
- Gather stories, photos and video from sites and offices; interview employees and write short features
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages, and flag sensitive or negative content to management
- Follow the approval process before publishing anything involving operations, security-sensitive locations or individuals
- Prepare monthly performance reports and basic analytics
- Maintain the photo and video library with appropriate permissions and consent records
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in social media management or content creation
- Strong writing skills in English; Arabic and/or Kurdish is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with design, photo and video editing tools
- Understanding of social media analytics and best practices
- Good judgment and discretion with sensitive information
