Bahari Kar is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Accountant to join its team in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with the company's accounting procedures and financial policies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, record, and review daily accounting entries, including double-entry bookkeeping and adjusting entries.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized financial and accounting records.
- Prepare financial reports and support the preparation of financial statements and closing accounts.
- Reconcile accounts and verify the accuracy of financial transactions and balances.
- Ensure proper recording and documentation of all financial activities.
- Work efficiently with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and financial policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
- Full professional proficiency in Ameen Accounting Software and Odoo ERP System.
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting entries, including journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and adjusting entries.
- Experience preparing financial statements, closing accounts, and financial reports.
- Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Willingness and ability to travel when required.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage financial records efficiently.
