About the job
Bloom Early Childhood Education Center is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic English Teacher to teach children aged 3, 4, and 5 years old. The ideal candidate will create a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment that helps young children develop their English language skills through interactive lessons, educational games, songs, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other age-appropriate activities.
The successful candidate should have a genuine interest in early childhood education, patience when working with young children, and the ability to make learning enjoyable while supporting children's language development, creativity, confidence, and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver fun, interactive, and age-appropriate English lessons for children aged 3, 4, and 5.
- Teach basic English vocabulary, pronunciation, greetings, colors, numbers, shapes, animals, and everyday expressions.
- Organize educational games, songs, storytelling, role-playing, arts and crafts, and other creative learning activities.
- Encourage children to participate in classroom activities and develop their listening, speaking, and communication skills.
- Create a positive, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that supports children's learning and development.
- Adapt teaching methods and activities to suit different ages, learning abilities, and developmental stages.
- Use visual aids, flashcards, toys, pictures, and other teaching materials to make lessons interesting and easy to understand.
- Encourage children's creativity, curiosity, confidence, and positive social interaction.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive, age-appropriate guidance and encouragement.
- Monitor children's participation and progress in learning English.
- Ensure children's safety and well-being during lessons and classroom activities.
- Prepare and organize teaching materials and classroom activities in advance.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and follow the center's educational guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Good command of the English language, with clear pronunciation and the ability to teach basic English to young children.
- Genuine interest in teaching children aged 3–5 years old.
- Ability to plan and conduct creative, interactive, and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Patience, kindness, creativity, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom and engage young children in a positive and supportive manner.
- Responsible, organized, and attentive to children's needs.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly in a kindergarten, nursery, or preschool, is an advantage.
- A degree or certificate in English, Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field is an advantage.
