Responsibilities

  • Support the CTO in preparing and executing the annual IT strategy and plan and monitor alignment with the Bank’s objectives.
  • Monitor technology teams, service indicators and projects, and escalate observations and recommendations to the CTO.
  • Support preparation of the IT budget, investment and procurement plans and monitor execution within approved authority.
  • Monitor compliance with CBI requirements and approved technology frameworks and escalate non-compliance.
  • Monitor business continuity, disaster recovery, critical service readiness, testing and corrective actions.
  • Support follow-up of audit and regulatory requirements, observations and remediation plans through closure.
  • Monitor digital transformation and technology initiatives and report progress, risks and constraints.
  • Follow up vendors, contracts and service levels, resolving issues and escalating material matters.
  • Prepare and review periodic IT performance reports and indicators and submit them to the CTO.
  • Support IT policies and procedures and monitor implementation; act for the CTO when formally delegated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT. Master’s/MBA preferred; CISM/CISA/CGEIT, ITIL or PMP is an advantage.
  • Typically 8+ years in IT, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role; banking or financial-sector experience preferred.
  • Leadership, coordination, plan execution, team/project/budget/vendor management, technology risk, business continuity, regulatory communication, and knowledge of COBIT, ISO 27001 and ITIL.
