Chief Financial Officer · Sulaymaniyah
Lead and develop the overall financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and governance for a group of companies in Sulaymaniyah. Requires at least 15 years of finance experience, including 5 years in senior financial leadership, and fluency in Kurdish, English, and Arabic.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the overall financial strategy for the group companies in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Establish group-wide financial goals, performance indicators, and long-term financial plans.
- Lead the annual budgeting process across all subsidiaries and monitor financial performance against budgets.
- Oversee pricing strategies across business units to support competitiveness, profitability, and market alignment.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership and the board.
- Monitor financial performance, cash flow, and capital allocation across all group entities.
- Develop financial forecasting models and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management across the group.
- Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or CFO position.
- Fluency in Kurdish, English, and Arabic.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, financial analysis tools, and ERP systems.
