Telecommunications Engineer · Erbil
Korek Telecom is looking for a Charging Services Specialist in Erbil to oversee technical implementation, UAT, and troubleshooting of charging system products. The position requires a relevant bachelor's degree, 1–2 years of experience, and proficiency in English and Kurdish.
Responsibilities
- Technical implementation of Sales and Marketing department products and services.
- Support operations teams in troubleshooting faults.
- Respond to any queries and complaints from other business/operation units regarding CS services.
- Ensure correct implementation of services.
- Ensure the design & implementation of new products & change requests in a timely manner with the highest quality.
- Enforce the product life cycle (PLC) process.
- Implement an effective framework for balancing workload assignments, employee schedules and work distribution among charging services team members.
- Assess and validate new software release for Charging System.
- Manage the UAT process with commercial/marketing team.
- Enforce proper handover for the new products and services to CS support by preparing LLD and deployment procedure.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor in Computer Science/Engineering or Telecommunication
- Experience: 1-2 years
- Languages: English (required), Kurdish (required), Arabic (preferred)
- Basic knowledge in SS7 and IP Protocols.
- Ability to work independently under demanding situations.
- Good knowledge in development tools (Shell , Java , Python , Perl …etc).
- Strong Unix/Linux administration skills.
- Good Database management skills (DDL & DML).
- Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills.
- Intelligent Network concept is a plus.
