The Security Camera Supervisor is responsible for overseeing CCTV surveillance operations at an assigned shopping mall in Duhok. The role involves supervising CCTV operators, ensuring effective monitoring of security systems, coordinating incident responses, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and client security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise CCTV monitoring operations at the assigned shopping mall.
- Monitor surveillance systems to identify suspicious activities, security threats, and potential safety risks.
- Supervise CCTV operators and ensure they perform their duties effectively and professionally.
- Coordinate with on-site security guards and relevant teams to respond promptly to incidents.
- Ensure security incidents are reported, documented, and escalated to management when necessary.
- Monitor the functionality of CCTV cameras, recording systems, and related security equipment.
- Ensure surveillance footage is properly recorded, stored, and handled confidentially.
- Conduct regular performance checks to ensure compliance with company procedures and client security requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and incident-based reports for management.
- Train CCTV operators on monitoring procedures, incident response, and professional conduct.
- Coordinate with the technical team to resolve equipment malfunctions and surveillance system issues.
- Ensure surveillance operations comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable privacy requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or relevant qualification; additional security training is an advantage.
- Previous experience in CCTV monitoring or security operations is required.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance technology, and security procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify suspicious activities and respond appropriately to security incidents.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in critical situations.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, when required.
