About the job
American Basket is seeking an experienced and responsible Cashier to join its team in Erbil. The ideal candidate should have previous cashier experience, good communication skills, and the ability to communicate in at least two of the required languages.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Process cash and other payment transactions.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Assist customers with payment-related inquiries.
- Maintain an organized and professional checkout area.
- Ensure accuracy when handling cash and completing transactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cashier is mandatory.
- Must be fluent in at least two of the following language combinations:
- Kurdish and English, or
- Kurdish and Arabic.
- Knowledge of all three languages (Kurdish, Arabic, and English) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Ability to work the evening shift according to the specified schedule.
Working hours
- Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Break: One-hour break during the shift
- Days Off: One day off every 15 days, 6 days per week (Fridays are off)
