First Iraqi Bank (FIB) is looking for Assistant Corporate Relationship Management to support and enhance the Bank’s digital banking channels and integration services.
The Assistant Corporate Relationship Management Officer is responsible for supporting relationship management activities in managing and following up with clients and carrying out daily relationship requirements, through preparing information and documents, following up on requests and transactions, updating client and opportunity data, and coordinating with the relevant departments. The role also contributes to developing relationships and business opportunities and improving service quality while complying with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, policies, authorities, and approved controls.

Responsibilities
- Support relationship management activities in following up with clients, requests, transactions, and daily commitments, and update the status of each request or action.
- Collect, organize, and review the information and documents required for clients and ensure their completeness before referring them to the relevant parties.
- Follow up on client transactions and requests with the relevant departments and branches and ensure their progress within the specified service levels.
- Update client, portfolio, opportunity, revenue, and open case data, and prepare the required schedules and reports to support the Relationship Management team.
- Support the implementation of Know Your Customer (KYC) and due diligence requirements, update data and documents, and ensure the completeness of requirements in accordance with approved procedures.
- Participate in meetings and visits with clients when assigned, document observations, requests, and actions, and follow up on their implementation.
- Follow up on document expiry dates, reviews, and periodic requirements, and provide advance notification regarding required due dates.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities to provide additional products and services and prepare the necessary information or proposals to support relationship development.
- Follow up on client complaints and feedback with the relevant parties and keep the direct supervisor informed of the status of the resolution until closure.
- Monitor deficiencies, delays, or unusual information related to clients and escalate them to the direct supervisor in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Operations, Credit, Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, Products, and Branches to ensure the smooth processing of client requests.
- Organize and archive correspondence, documents, and client files in a secure and retrievable manner in accordance with approved procedures.
- Prepare correspondence, schedules, follow-ups, and periodic reports related to clients and assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures, regulatory authorities’ instructions, authority limits, and maintain the confidentiality of client and Bank information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Financial Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Typically, a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in client relations, sales, business development, or banking operations, preferably with experience in following up on client files and KYC requirements.
- Client relationship management and follow-up, organization and time management, understanding of banking products and services, customer service, preparation of reports and schedules, Microsoft Office and Excel, communication and teamwork, accuracy and confidentiality, and English appropriate to the job requirements.
