Entry-level position supporting daily accounting and financial operations in Erbil. Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in accounting or finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience in accounting or finance; fresh graduates may also apply.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.
- Ability to prepare and organize invoices, receipts, payment documents, and accounting records.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of ERP/accounting software is an advantage.
- Turkish and Arabic communication skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and finance activities.
- Record and maintain financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
- Prepare and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and payment requests.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support bank and cash reconciliation and monitor daily transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and accounting records.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and filing.
- Support employee expense records when required.
- Assist with tax, SGK, and other statutory payment/documentation processes.
- Check accounting documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Enter and update financial data in the ERP/accounting system.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial documents.
- Perform other accounting and finance tasks assigned by the Finance/Accounting Manager.
