mselect is looking to hire a Sales Executive Supervisor for a logistics client in Baghdad, Iraq. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the logistics industry, including ocean, land, and air freight services for both import and export operations. Fluency in English and Arabic is a must.
The Sales Executive Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the sales team to achieve revenue targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies for logistics services. The role focuses on driving business growth, strengthening client relationships, expanding the customer base, and ensuring the consistent delivery of commercial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute sales plans for logistics services (freight, warehousing, distribution)
- Monitor team performance using KPIs and provide regular reports to management
- Train, mentor, and develop the sales team members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Coordinate with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Prepare proposals and quotations and negotiate contracts with clients
- Follow up on payments and ensure compliance with financial terms
- Sell company products and services and advise customers on specific transport modalities to sell the solution best fitted to their needs
- Upload visit feedback and market research information on the CRM system (C-view) and ensure updated commercial data in the information system – CargoWise
- Receive customers’ requests, prioritise them, and process their requests in coordination with sales support and operations teams
- Constantly promote new services and value-added services to customers
- Help maintain market ID
- Achieve sales targets as agreed with the sales manager
- Expanding the customer database by maintaining existing customers and attracting new customers through regular communication reach via phone calls, emails, or field visits
- Record the necessary data on the appropriate system in preparation for the operations team to complete processing of the shipment and issue an invoice
- Follow up & Apply Department monthly, quarterly & yearly products, initiatives & tasks set by my department manager/management
- Attend all required Local & Global trainings & sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc)
- A minimum of 5 years of sales-related experience, including Ocean, Land, and Air Freight for both Import and Export operations
- Relevant job knowledge and experience
- Relevant functional job knowledge and experience, including Sea and Air Freight (Import & Export)
