Mandalparêz is an independent, non-governmental organization dedicated to children. Established in 1991 by Mr. Hero Ibrahim Ahmed with a number of volunteers, the organization is non-political, non-governmental, non-religious, and non-profit.

The organization provides support without discrimination based on race, gender, or religious and political affiliation. Its work focuses on strengthening the capacities of children and young people and supporting their future through services related to children's rights, health, and education.

Mandalparêz implements educational projects across the Kurdistan Region, including programs supporting children with special needs, inclusive education, early childhood education, teacher training, informal education, summer courses, and activities supporting children's return to education.

The program also works to coordinate and support children's education, participate in child-related activities, raise awareness, support children, and plan and implement educational activities.

Working hours

  • Employment Type: Part-Time
  • Working Days: Every day except Friday and Saturday
  • Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Work with children using appropriate hands-on techniques and equipment.
  • Assess and provide physiotherapy support for children and work with children with special needs.
  • Support families of children with special needs regarding physiotherapy.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports.
  • Participate in awareness campaigns and center activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree from a university or institute.
  • Experience in dealing and working with children.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to laws and regulations related to the protection of children's rights.
