DDK Bakery is looking for an Outlet Cashier in Duhok to process transactions, manage the checkout counter, and provide customer service.

Position Summary
The Outlet Cashier at DDK Bakery is responsible for delivering accurate, efficient, and courteous checkout service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, honesty, and customer care. This role supports a welcoming and family-friendly shopping environment in line with DDK Collection values.
Responsibilities
- Cash Handling & POS Operations
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers, and electronic payments responsibly.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
- Perform cash drawer opening, closing, and shift reconciliation.
- Immediately report discrepancies or irregularities to the supervisor.
- Accurately process all customer transactions using the POS system.
- Customer Service
- Greet customers politely and maintain a friendly, respectful attitude.
- Provide clear and helpful responses to customer inquiries.
- Ensure a smooth and pleasant checkout experience for all customers.
- Handle minor customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Operational Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter at all times.
- Ensure availability of bags, receipt paper, and other cashier supplies.
- Assist with packing items carefully and hygienically.
- Support other bakery operations when required during slow periods.
- Compliance, Hygiene & Security
- Follow all DDK Bakery cash handling, loss prevention, and security procedures.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer-related information.
- Comply with uniform, grooming, and professional appearance standards.
Requirements
- College Graduate.
- Good conversation skills - English, Arabic and Kurdish
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
- Experience in Bakery or retail similar operations is an advantage.
- Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Good communication skills.
