We are seeking an experienced and highly accountable Hospital Manager to lead the daily operations and overall management of a newly opened hospital.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in hospital management or healthcare administration, with strong capabilities in leadership, staff management, operational planning, problem-solving, and regulatory compliance. The Hospital Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all departments operate efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with applicable healthcare standards and government regulations in Iraq.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the hospital’s day-to-day operations and administrative activities.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate hospital staff and departments to ensure effective performance.
- Establish and maintain efficient operational procedures, workflows, and internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with government healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, and applicable hospital standards.
- Monitor hospital performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Address operational challenges and ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure the continuous availability of essential supplies and services.
- Maintain effective communication with hospital staff, suppliers, government authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Represent the hospital professionally when dealing with government authorities and external organizations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that hospital policies and procedures are properly implemented across all departments.
- Support the delivery of efficient, high-quality, and patient-centered healthcare services.
- Provide management with regular updates on operational performance, challenges, and areas requiring attention.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospital management, healthcare administration, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations and healthcare service delivery.
- Good knowledge of healthcare regulations, licensing procedures, and hospital requirements in Iraq.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- High level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, suppliers, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Strong planning and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
