Newal is looking for a proactive and organized E-Commerce Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our e-commerce business in Iraq.
This role is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities between our Baghdad office, 3PL warehouse, logistics partners, customer service, finance team, and headquarters. The successful candidate will ensure that operations run smoothly, identify and resolve operational issues, and maintain high service standards.
This is a coordination-focused role, requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Visit the 3PL warehouse on a daily basis to monitor warehouse operations.
- Ensure customer orders are processed, packed, and dispatched on time.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and support stock control activities.
- Coordinate Cash on Delivery (COD) collections and payment reconciliations with the Finance team.
- Work closely with Customer Service to resolve operational issues affecting customer orders.
- Monitor the accuracy of product listings, pricing, inventory availability, and promotional campaigns on the Shopify website, and coordinate with relevant teams when updates are required.
- Coordinate daily activities with logistics providers and other operational partners.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational performance reports for management.
- Identify operational issues, propose solutions, and follow up until they are resolved.
- Act as the primary coordination point between the Iraq operation and Newal Headquarters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in E-Commerce Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, or a similar operational role.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is preferred.
- Experience with ERP, OMS, or WMS systems is a plus.
- Professional working proficiency
- Fluent Arabic and professional working proficiency in English are required; knowledge of Kurdish is preferred,
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily within Baghdad. (Required)
