Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture.
- A portfolio of completed designs.
- Excellent technical skills, particularly with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max, …).
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft office (Excel, Projects, …).
- Strong creative design and time management skills.
- Ability to: problem solving and use of math and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings and project schedules.
- Proficiency in English, and Arabic verbal and writing communication.
Responsibilities
- Gathering the necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design layouts.
- Using CAD software and manual drawing techniques to produce architectural plans for management and client approval.
- Reworking and modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
- Ensuring all vital information and documentation is recorded and maintained.
- Ensuring that all layouts and blueprints are compliant with industry codes and legal standards.
- Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Visiting building worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans.
- Preparing detailed shop drawings showing the required details needed for construction and client requests.
- Ability to read project schedule, coordinating with Construction manager regarding required details and project needs.
