Position Overview
Shahan Company is seeking a professional and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join DDK Gallery Cafe at Shahan Sales Gallery, Cavalli Tower, Erbil. Reporting to the Female Captain, the role is responsible for welcoming cafe customers and Sales Gallery guests, taking and serving food and beverage orders accurately, maintaining table and service-area readiness, and supporting hospitality arrangements for sales appointments, VIP visits, meetings, presentations, and company guests.
ئەرکەکان
- Welcome cafe customers and Sales Gallery guests professionally, present menus, answer basic enquiries, and record food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, monitor assigned tables, respond to guest requests, and maintain approved presentation and service standards.
- Prepare, clear, and reset tables.
- Maintain seating areas, service stations, menus, tableware, and service equipment in a clean and organized condition.
- Coordinate with the Female Captain, Barista, Bar Assistant, Reception, cashier, kitchen/service point, and other team members to ensure smooth order flow and guest service.
- Support hospitality arrangements for sales appointments, VIP visits, company guests, internal meetings, presentations, and special events within the Sales Gallery.
- Report shortages, damaged items, equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or significant guest-service issues to the Female Captain.
- Follow company hygiene, food-safety, grooming, and service procedures at all times.

- Ability to present menus, explain available food and beverage items, take orders accurately, and serve orders promptly.
- Ability to monitor assigned tables, respond to guest requests, and communicate orders or special requests clearly to relevant team members.
- Good understanding of hygiene, food safety, sanitation, safe handling, and cleanliness requirements in a food and beverage environment.
- Ability to keep tables, seating areas, service stations, menus, and service equipment clean, organized, and ready for operation.
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, time management, and discretion in a premium client-facing environment.
- Familiarity with cafe or table-service procedures, menu presentation, and guest order flow.
- Ability to support hospitality arrangements for VIP visits, sales appointments, meetings, presentations, and special events.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to remain organized and courteous during busy service periods.
