Reports to: QHSE Manager
The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for conducting quality inspections and verification activities, primarily for drilling and workover rig operations, while supporting well testing, production, and maintenance activities as required. The role ensures that equipment, materials, services, and work activities comply with company, client, contractual, and applicable industry requirements.

- Develop, maintain, and verify QA/QC documentation in accordance with company, client, contractual, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspections of rig equipment, components, and work activities to verify compliance with approved requirements and standards.
- Verify equipment certificates, inspection reports, test records, and third-party inspection documentation.
- Monitor maintenance, repair, and inspection activities to ensure required quality checks are completed.
- Verify equipment inspection, maintenance, and certification status before green tagging or recommending equipment release, in accordance with PB procedures and delegated authority.
- Monitor QA/QC requirements during rig moves, rig-up, rig-down, and drilling/workover operations.
- Conduct planned QA/QC inspections at drilling rigs, well testing locations, production facilities, and other PB work locations.
- Verify material identification, traceability, and certification, where applicable.
- Monitor the calibration status of measuring and testing equipment used for inspection activities.
- Identify and report quality deficiencies and support NCR, corrective-action, and follow-up processes.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and client representatives during required inspections and testing, verifying inspector qualifications where applicable.
- Review inspection and testing results, third-party reports, certificates, and findings, and follow up on outstanding corrective actions.
- Ensure specialized inspections and NDT activities are performed by appropriately qualified personnel in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements.
- Support the preparation of project quality packages, inspection dossiers, and final documentation for project close-out.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and submit completed QA/QC documentation to Document Control.
- Read and interpret relevant technical drawings, including P&IDs, PFDs, and piping isometric drawings, to verify equipment installation and configuration against approved requirements, where applicable.
- Report significant quality issues and unresolved deficiencies to the QA/QC Officer and QHSE Manager.
- Ensure QA/QC activities are performed in accordance with applicable HSE requirements.
مەرجەکان
- Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of QA/QC inspection experience, preferably in oil & gas.
- Experience with drilling/workover rigs and oilfield equipment is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment inspection, certification, maintenance and testing requirements.
- Familiarity with applicable API, ASME and ISO 9001 requirements.
- QA/QC inspection or relevant technical certification is preferred. Specialized Level II/Level III NDT, welding, tubular or other inspection qualifications are required where the employee is directly performing those inspection activities.
- Knowledge of third-party inspection, NDT and calibration requirements is an advantage.
- Good reporting, communication and organizational skills.
- Good computer literacy, including MS Office and QA/QC reporting systems.
- Ability to work at drilling rigs, well sites and other field locations.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and operational conditions.
- Physically fit to conduct equipment inspections and access rig structures and operational areas.
- Willingness to travel and work on rotation at remote project locations.
