Shahan Company is seeking an experienced Electrician to support DDK Hotel and DDK Collection Hotel.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the role is responsible for routine electrical maintenance, basic troubleshooting, minor repairs, and common electrical issues in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Complex or high-risk faults must be reported for specialist support.

  • Carry out routine electrical maintenance and basic troubleshooting across DDK Hotel and DDK Collection Hotel as directed by the Chief Engineer.
  • Respond to common faults involving lighting, switches, sockets, breakers, minor wiring issues, and other basic hotel electrical requirements.
  • Repair or replace approved components within the limits of the role.
  • Immediately report unsafe, complex, or recurring electrical faults.
  • Support preventive maintenance checks in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, offices, service areas, and other hotel facilities.
  • Maintain tools and work areas properly.
  • Follow safety procedures and complete maintenance tasks with minimum disruption to guests and hotel operations.
  • Record completed work and outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate follow-up with the maintenance team.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.

مەرجەکان

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in electrical work, facilities maintenance, hotel maintenance, or a similar technical role.
  • Proven practical electrical experience and/or a relevant electrical degree, diploma, technical certificate, or vocational qualification.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic faults involving lighting, switches, sockets, breakers, minor wiring, and common power-supply issues.
  • Good understanding of safe electrical work practices.
  • Ability to use basic electrical tools and testing equipment correctly.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to respond promptly to maintenance requests in an active hotel environment.
  • Previous electrical or maintenance experience in hotels, hospitality properties, or commercial buildings.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, basic electrical inspection, fault reporting, and simple maintenance records.
  • Ability to coordinate with the Chief Engineer and identify when specialist or external support is required.
