دەربارەی کارەکە

Shahan Company is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join FV Market at French Village. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will process customer transactions accurately, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and other approved payment methods, issue receipts, and maintain an organized and professional checkout experience.

ئەرکەکان

  • Process customer purchases accurately through the POS system and accept cash, card, and other approved payment methods according to company procedures.
  • Issue receipts, verify transaction details, and ensure prices, discounts, and approved offers are applied correctly before completing transactions.
  • Manage the assigned cash drawer and support opening and closing cash checks.
  • Immediately report shortages, overages, system issues, or transaction discrepancies to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Provide courteous checkout service, respond to routine customer questions, and coordinate with FV Market staff when price checks, product clarification, or customer assistance is required.
  • Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and ready for operation.
  • Protect cash and customer information and follow company procedures for returns, refunds, cancellations, handovers, and daily transaction records.

مەرجەکان

  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a cashier or in a similar retail role.
  • Proficiency in Kurdish and Arabic is required.
  • Good numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to handle cash and customer payments responsibly.
  • Ability to operate POS systems, process transactions accurately, issue receipts, and follow approved payment procedures.
  • Good customer-service and communication skills, with a polite and professional approach to customers.
  • Ability to remain organized and accurate during busy periods and coordinate effectively with the market team.
  • Previous experience in supermarkets, markets, retail stores, or other high-volume cashier environments is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work shifts according to FV Market operating requirements, including evenings and weekends when required, is preferred.
