عن الوظيفة
Halabja Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to oversee project planning, schedule monitoring, engineering design reviews, and construction quality assurance and control. The role ensures that civil construction projects comply with approved designs, technical specifications, engineering standards, quality requirements, and agreed timelines while providing technical guidance and coordinating with project teams to support efficient, high-quality project delivery.
المهام
- Prepare and review civil and structural drawings, design calculations, construction details, technical specifications, and work packages to ensure safe, practical, and code-compliant solutions.
- Develop and monitor detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6, track progress against milestones, identify delays and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide technical support and structural engineering consultancy throughout construction, investigate site issues, review proposed modifications, and ensure compliance with approved designs and standards.
- Review technical submittals, inspection and test plans, method statements, and quality documentation; identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Prepare and update project progress schedules and technical reports, document inspection findings, and monitor schedule performance and quality compliance throughout project execution.
المتطلبات
- Nationality: Iraqi.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. A Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred and considered a strong advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in construction projects, including at least 3 years of office-based experience.
- Languages: Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic, and English, both written and spoken.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Structural Design Software: Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, particularly ETABS and SAFE.
- Engineering Codes and Standards: Strong working knowledge of relevant international codes and standards, including ACI, ASCE, AISC, and ASTM, with the ability to apply them effectively in structural design, construction, and quality control.
