Work Location: DDK Lounge and Terrace
DDK Lounge and Terrace is seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward to support the cleanliness, hygiene, and operational readiness of its back-of-house and service-support areas. Reporting to the DDK Lounge and Terrace Manager, the successful candidate will handle dishwashing, clean and sanitize kitchen and service equipment, maintain orderly work areas, handle waste appropriately, and support the kitchen and service teams when required.
المهام
- Wash, clean, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, cutlery, utensils, trays, and approved kitchen and service equipment.
- Keep dishwashing, kitchen-support, storage, and back-of-house work areas clean, organized, and ready for operation throughout the shift.
- Handle waste, food debris, and used materials safely and dispose of them according to approved hygiene and operational procedures.
- Monitor cleaning materials and stewarding supplies, and promptly report shortages, breakages, equipment problems, or hygiene concerns to the DDK Lounge and Terrace Manager.
- Support kitchen and service teams during busy periods with approved cleaning, clearing, setup, and operational-support tasks.
- Follow food-safety, hygiene, grooming, and conduct standards at all times.
المتطلبات
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a steward, dishwasher, cleaner, kitchen helper, or in a similar hospitality-support role.
- Good command of Kurdish and Arabic is required.
- Basic knowledge of English is required.
- Good understanding of cleanliness, sanitation, dishwashing, and safe handling of kitchen and service equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods and perform physically active duties throughout the shift.
- Reliability, organization, and the ability to follow hygiene, safety, and operational instructions consistently.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, lounge, hotel, or other food and beverage environment is preferred.
- Awareness of safe cleaning-chemical use, waste handling, breakage control, and proper storage of cleaning materials is preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts according to DDK Lounge and Terrace operating requirements, including evenings and weekends when required, is preferred.
