Reporting Line: Service Manager
We are seeking an experienced General Automotive Technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills to maintain, diagnose, and repair conventional vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs), Range-Extended Electric Vehicles (REEVs), and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs).
المهام
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and general mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, cooling systems, brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
- Perform engine disassembly, overhaul, reassembly, and installation when required.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using professional diagnostic tools.
- Understand EV and hybrid systems, including high-voltage batteries, electric motors, inverters, and charging systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot REEV systems, including range-extender engines, generators, battery charging, and energy management systems.
- Diagnose and repair PHEV systems, including combustion engines, electric drive systems, and hybrid powertrain components.
- Identify diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), determine root causes, and verify completed repairs.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures, workshop SOPs, and high-voltage safety requirements.
- Complete repair documentation and coordinate with the Workshop Controller and Service Advisors.
المتطلبات
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on automotive technician experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical repairs, engine overhaul, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Practical knowledge of EV, REEV, and PHEV systems.
- Experience using professional diagnostic scanners and technical service information.
- Relevant automotive technical diploma or equivalent practical qualifications preferred.
- Previous Toyota dealership experience is highly preferred.
- EV/hybrid technical training and manufacturer certifications are an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and commitment to repair quality and safety.
- Kurdish: Required.
- Arabic: Required.
- English: An advantage.
- An experienced automotive technician with Toyota dealership experience, strong mechanical and diagnostic capabilities, and the technical ability to work on modern EV, REEV, and PHEV systems.
