Join our professional accounting team in Basra and become a vital contributor to financial success, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and long-term client trust.
المهام
- Process and record company expenses accurately. Including the recording of the monthly Depreciation of Fixed Assets and Pre-paid Expenses, and the recording of adjusting entries in the Journal when necessary.
- Monitoring the company’s tax obligations. ensuring that the company is in compliance with Tax laws, and maintaining accurate records of the financial documents that are used for preparing tax returns.
- Regularly depositing cash in the company’s Bank account.
- Creating daily reports on Cash transactions, and cash collections from Receivable Accounts.
- Processing payments on an Accrual Accounting basis and ensuring that all bills and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assisting the Senior Accountant with the monthly and yearly operations of the accounting department, such as Budget review and analysis.
- Assisting in the collection of cash from Receivable Accounts.
- Managing the Processing of Cash Receipts, the recording of Revenues and Receivables, and working closely with the team to ensure that revenues and receivables are reconciled with the sales department’s data at all times.
- Performing daily archiving of financial documents.
- Performing the day-to-day processing of transactions, ensuring that the company’s finances are up-to-date and accurate.
المتطلبات
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 2 years of relevant previous experience is required.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of basic accounting procedures.
- Familiarity with Financial Statements.
- Excellent ability in using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
- English and Arabic languages are a must.
