عن الوظيفة
The Teaching Assistant supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, caring, organized, and engaging learning environment for children. The role includes assisting with educational activities, daily childcare, classroom management, and children’s development.
المهام
- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons and activities.
- Prepare educational materials, toys, and classroom resources.
- Support storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and group activities.
- Encourage children’s participation, independence, and social skills.
- Supervise children throughout the day to ensure their safety.
- Assist with meals, handwashing, toileting, diaper changing, and nap times.
- Comfort children and support their emotional needs.
- Encourage positive behavior, sharing, and teamwork.
- Keep the classroom clean, safe, and organized.
- Organize children’s belongings and classroom equipment.
- Prepare the classroom before arrival and tidy up at the end of the day.
- Follow the Lead Teacher’s instructions and daily schedule.
- Report any concerns regarding children’s health, safety, or behavior.
- Maintain professional communication with colleagues and parents.
- Assist with nursery events, celebrations, and special activities.
المتطلبات
- Be responsible, patient, and caring.
- Treat every child with kindness, respect, and fairness.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Avoid personal phone use while supervising children.
- Follow all nursery safety, hygiene, and child protection policies.
- Work cooperatively with teachers and Management.
- Experience working with young children is preferred.
- Good English communication skills.
- Patience, creativity, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and childcare.
