We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Cashier to join a butcher shop team. The Cashier will handle customer payments, process orders accurately, maintain the cash register, and provide friendly and efficient customer service.
المهام
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Receive and process customer orders accurately.
- Calculate bills and collect cash or electronic payments.
- Operate the cash register/POS system efficiently.
- Provide accurate receipts and change.
- Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate daily transaction records.
- Coordinate with butchers and other staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly.
- Answer basic customer questions about products, prices, and available offers.
- Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist with packaging or organizing customer orders when needed.
- Report payment discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Follow the shop’s hygiene, safety, and customer service standards.
المتطلبات
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers and POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle cash responsibly.
- Friendly, patient, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in a butcher shop, grocery store, or food business is an advantage.
